About Luggage
CoolRide operates full size luxury sedans with large trunks. If we can fit your luggage into the trunk, we’ll take it. Typically that means about 4 standard suitcases and a few smaller items. Large items such as skis, snow boards, or surf boards can not be transported in a sedan.

If you have additional luggage, extra large items, or a party of 4 or more, we recommend reserving one of our very comfortable vans. Equipped with captain-chair or bench style seating, our vans our perfect for up to 9 passengers, and there is lots of room for luggage. Click here for more information - Vehicles We Use

Our drivers will do their very best to make sure that you do not leave baggage or other personal items in the vehicle. However, passengers are fully responsible for their own items.
Traveling w/Children
A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18 unless prior special arrangements have been made.

California State law does not allow children to ride in the lap of an adult. If your child is under the minimum age/weight standards set by the state of California you, as the parent or guardian, are required to provide an approved car seat for each child that the law applies to.

The California Vehicle Code essentially states (excerpted):

Effective January 1, 2002

No parent or legal guardian, when present in a motor vehicle, as defined in Section 27315, shall permit his or her child or ward to be transported upon a highway in the motor vehicle without providing and properly securing the child or ward, in a child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards unless the child or ward is at least one of the following:

(1) Six years of age or older.
(2) Weighs 60 pounds or more.
